Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium size bowl combine the dry ingredients - the oatmeal, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and set aside.
In a large standing mixer, cream together the room temperature butter and sugars for 5 minutes, until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix again.
Add eggs one at a time and once combined then add the vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix until just combined.
Add the dried cranberries.
Scoop cookies and place on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.
Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
