Magic Cookie Bar

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk the one I used was 300 MLS
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup nuts I used salted peanuts, if you use a different nut I would recommend chopping them.

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat 13 x 9 - inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter. Press into bottom of prepared pan.
  • Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crumb mixture.
  • Mix together chocolate chips, coconut and nuts in a separate bowl. (You can also keep them separate and layer this bar as well).
  • Dump the chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts on the graham crumbs and press down firmly with a fork.
  • Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned, the coconut will be what you will be watching to brown.
  • Cool, then cut into squares and store covered at room temperature. They are much easier to cut when completely cooled, I usually wait a couple of hours before I cut them up.
