Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup peanut butter regular or chunky
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp  baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F, and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and set aside.
  • In a stand mixer cream butter and peanut butter until silky smooth then add both sugars.
  • Add in eggs one at a time.
  • With the mixer on low add the flour mixture to the butter mixture.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and put them on baking sheets. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern. I dip my fork into a little flour to the cookies don't stick to the fork.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cookies begin to brown.
